Ridge Paso Robles Zinfandel (San Luis Obispo) 2001

When last noted in 3/07, it was in its prime. Now it’s just a tad over the hill. The flavors are not quite as bright and the armoas are a bit more muted. The blackberry and black cherry fruit are a bit more dominated by brambles and other earthy flavors. All the same, it’s still pretty good stuff. If you’ve got any left in your cellar, drink up. Grade: B+
