Herzog Special Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) 2002

This wine is kosher for Passover, but not recommended. An odd, medicinal note on the nose. The fruit is vegetal (sauerkraut?) and industrial. Yuck. There is a saying that you should never cook with a wine you wouldn't drink; this wine went into the pot, but I hesitated before doing so, which tells you something. Grade: D
