Most wineries would be proud to claim this wine as their flagship, but at B&H it's a second (or maybe even third) level wine into which declassified lots of their principal Napa Valley wines are blended. Deep purple-ruby. A big nose, offering berries, black cherries, red currants, and a dash of oak. On the palate, the flavor associations mainly suggest a blend of the classic Bordeaux varietals, although the hint of blueberry suggests that some Syrah may have found its way into the mix. Not a wine for the cellar, but it's a great wine to drink with steak over the next few years. Yum. Grade: B++
